Connect → Root → Grow

Welcome

Sometimes life asks more of us than we have capacity to carry. You may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, caught in old patterns, or simply tired of holding everything together on your own.Counselling offers a space to slow down, become curious about your experience, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been waiting to be heard.Whether you're navigating grief, anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, or a major life transition, you don't have to do it alone.

Why "Take Root"?

TAKE ROOT (verb)1. of a plant : to grow and develop roots : to become rooted2. of an idea : to become fixed or established : to take hold----------------------------------------------To "take root" is to engage in a process of grounding deeply enough into our inner resources that organic growth becomes possible. In nature, root systems are not isolated; they share nutrients, communicate, adapt, and support one another to flourish. In much the same way, healing often happens through connection with a safe witness as we explore the depths of our inner world.

My Approach

Hello, I'm Jess Autumn Griffiths, MPCC-P (they/them/theirs)I believe that healing happens in connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the natural rhythms of life. Like the mycelium that quietly nourishes the forest floor, therapy creates an unseen network of support that helps you flourish. My approach is somatic, mindfulness-based, and grounded in evidence-supported practices. Guided by the principles of Hakomi, you can explore what's beneath the surface, untangle what feels stuck, and begin to grow in the direction that feels right for you.
